GENERAL FRANCIS MARION

A very popular peach flowered cultivar with a wine eye and picotee edge, and, an orange throat. Good branching & bud count. Puts on a massive show of blooms! Named for a famous American Revolutionary War general who was nicknamed "The Swamp Fox". His boyhood home was here on the renowned Belle Isle Plantation-- the present Belle Isle subdivision of Georgetown County, SC. (Parentage-- An offspring of the famous cultivar STRAWBERRY CANDY.)
